The general symptoms of the disease are complete loss of appetite , mouth being usually kept open , the trunk contracted , high fever and swellings in the head , neck , shoulders and between the jaws . इस रोग के सामान्य लक्षण हैं : भूख का बिल्कुल समाप्त होना ; मुख का प्राय : खुला रहना ; सूंड का सिकुड़ा रहना ; तेज ज़्वर और सिर , गर्दन , कन्धों तथा जबड़ों में सूजन .
